Prince Harry's planned stay at Buckingham Palace has fallen through after a miscommunication with King Charles' office, according to reports.
The Duke of Sussex is visiting London this week, and King Charles extended an invitation for him to stay at the royal residence.

However, Buckingham Palace set a deadline for Harry to respond by the end of last week. Harry missed that deadline, leading to the invitation being withdrawn.
A representative for Prince Harry described the palace's decision as "disappointing."

Buckingham Palace explained that an accommodation was offered to Prince Harry, but his team failed to confirm whether he would accept it.
The palace said the Sussex team later formally declined the invitation on Saturday.

After that, the team changed their mind and accepted the offer, but it was too late to make arrangements.
Harry was informed he could not stay and was aware of the decision.
