LeBron James will play next season, but not for the Los Angeles Lakers.

His agent, Rich Paul, informed the team of the decision on Tuesday, confirming the four-time NBA champion is moving on.

James, 41, is not retiring.

Instead, he will suit up for a different team in his 24th NBA season, which could be his last.

Potential Destinations

Rumors suggest James could join the Golden State Warriors, teaming up with Stephen Curry and Draymond Green. Anthony Davis' name has also been mentioned in trade discussions.

Another possibility is a return to the Cleveland Cavaliers, the team that drafted him first overall in 2003.
