Xiaomi has launched a new portable charger in China called the Xiaomi Jinshajiang Ultra-Thin Magnetic Power Bank 10000 45W.

The device is now available for pre-order at 369 yuan, which is around $54.

Ultra-slim design with high capacity

The power bank measures just 13.2mm thick and weighs 195g.

Its compact body is 102 x 70.5 x 13.2mm and uses two 5,000mAh battery cells inside.

Xiaomi employs a new GSR silicon-carbon anode battery technology.

The company claims an energy density of up to 840Wh/L and 16% silicon content, typically found in flagship-grade batteries.

This allows the power bank to maintain a large capacity without becoming bulky.

Charging speeds and compatibility

The device supports up to 20W magnetic wireless charging and works with both Xiaomi smartphones and Apple iPhones.

Wired charging can reach up to 45W, with support for 40W, 30W, and 27W speeds. Users can charge two devices simultaneously using wired and wireless charging together.

The power bank itself recharges at up to 30W and supports common protocols like QC and PD.

Safety and durability features

Safety protections include overcharging, over-discharging, short circuit, overheating, and abnormal operation safeguards.

It also uses an NTC intelligent temperature control chip, graphene heat-dissipation material, and thermally conductive silicone for heat management.

Xiaomi claims the battery cells passed needle penetration, high-temperature storage, and heavy-pressure compression tests without catching fire or exploding.

Users can connect the power bank to a computer to check battery health, device status, traceability information, and anomaly records.
