Xiaomi has introduced a new solar-powered outdoor security camera, the Smart Solar Camera 4 Pro 4G Dual-Camera Edition, now available for crowdfunding on Xiaomi Youpin.
The early-bird price starts at 579 yuan, roughly $80.

The crowdfunding campaign begins on July 6 at 10:00 AM local time.
This model joins Xiaomi's growing lineup of outdoor cameras, which includes the Smart Outdoor Camera 4 4G and the Smart Outdoor Camera 4 Pro Triple-Cam Zoom Edition.
Key Features and Specifications
The camera is designed to operate independently of traditional power and network infrastructure. It supports dual 4G SIM cards for cellular connectivity, eliminating the need for Wi-Fi.
Power is supplied by a built-in 9,900mAh battery, which Xiaomi claims can last over a week on a single charge.

A 7.6W solar panel is included, allowing the camera to sustain itself indefinitely under normal sunlight.
For imaging, the device features two 5-megapixel cameras, each capable of recording at 3K resolution.
Both lenses have an f/1.6 aperture and combine white light and infrared LEDs for night vision.

When motion is detected, the camera can activate a siren and flashing light to deter intruders.
The camera supports Always-On Video (AOV) intelligent recording, which reduces the frame rate to one frame every two seconds when no activity is detected, saving over 90% of storage space.
Smart Home Integration and Durability
Users receive alerts via the Mi Home App and can communicate through two-way voice. The camera is compatible with Xiaomi's HyperConnect ecosystem for integration with other smart devices.
It carries an IP66 rating for dust and water resistance.
