Timex has expanded its Waterbury Heritage collection with two new chronograph watches in the US, both priced at $319.
The new models share a motorsport-inspired design and a meca-quartz movement, which combines quartz timekeeping with a mechanical chronograph module.
This movement provides a smoothly sweeping chronograph seconds hand and instant reset-to-zero action, powered by a standard SR936SW battery.
Design and Specifications
Both watches feature a 39mm brushed and polished stainless steel case with a 46mm lug-to-lug distance and a thickness of 13.5mm.
A fixed black tachymeter bezel allows for average speed calculations, and the dial is protected by a double-domed K1 mineral glass crystal with anti-reflective coating.
Timex offers two colorways: the TW2Y93300 with a black dial, silver sub-dials, and a black perforated leather strap, and the TW2Y93400 with gold-tone accents, black sub-dials, and a red perforated leather strap.
Both models include a red anodized pusher at two o'clock for the chronograph, luminous hands and hour markers, and 20mm quick-release spring bars for easy strap changes.
With 50 meters of water resistance, they can handle rain and splashes but are not suitable for swimming or diving.
The new Waterbury Heritage Chronographs are available now on the Timex US website.
