Xiaomi has launched a new smart home tool in China: the Mijia Electric Straight Handle Screwdriver.
The product will go on crowdfunding next Wednesday for 99 yuan, approximately $15.
Features and Specifications
The electric screwdriver is designed for home repairs and furniture assembly. It offers three adjustable torque levels.
In electric mode, it delivers up to 4 N·m of torque. Manual mode increases the maximum torque to 8 N·m for tougher screws.
A built-in 2000mAh battery can tighten around 600 screws on a full charge. The device supports universal Type-C charging.
The screwdriver uses an all-metal planetary gearbox for improved stability and durability. Xiaomi claims it maintains stable output under high-intensity operation and reduces slipping or jamming.
A magnetic bit holder helps keep screws in place during installation, especially in tight spaces. The magnetic function works mainly with ferrous and iron-based alloy screws.
The package includes 18 screwdriver bits: nine long bits and nine short bits. Integrated storage inside the carrying case keeps the main unit and accessories organized.
Other features include a built-in ring-shaped LED light for working in dark areas and a one-button system for switching between forward and reverse rotation.
The compact EVA storage case is impact-resistant and easy to carry.
