German influencer Laura Viktoria Härtig has died at age 30 following a head-on bicycle collision during her honeymoon in northern Italy.
Her death was announced on her Instagram page on Sunday, according to Italian outlets Trentino and il Dolomiti.
She succumbed to injuries sustained 19 days earlier when she collided with former Olympic skier Peter Runggaldier while biking on a mountain pass.
The impact was so severe that her bicycle split in two.
She was resuscitated at the scene and airlifted to a local hospital before being transferred to a hospital in Germany by her family, where she later died.
Härtig had over 54,000 Instagram followers, where she shared travel and outdoor content.
Just two days before the crash, she posted about her wedding, calling her husband her "soulmate for life."
Peter Runggaldier issued a statement on social media after her death, expressing condolences to her family and requesting privacy.
