OnePlus is expanding its ultra-budget N series in India with the upcoming N6x, teased via an Amazon microsite just weeks after the N6 launch.
The N6 debuted on June 30, 2026, as OnePlus's first device below the Nord series, starting at ₹22,999 for the 4GB+128GB variant.
It features an 8,000mAh battery with 45W charging, a 6.75-inch 720p 120Hz LCD, MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Apex chipset, and a 50MP main camera.
The Amazon India page for the N6x only shows "Coming Soon" with no specs, design, pricing, or release date.
Tipster Yogesh Brar suggests the N6x will have "familiar" specifications, possibly a tweaked N6 or a device sharing parts with OPPO/Realme models to keep costs low.
As a step below the N6, the N6x is expected to cut costs further while retaining key features.
Likely changes include a slightly weaker chipset, a similar large battery, the same 720p screen, and the 50MP camera.
This rapid release indicates OnePlus's commitment to competing in India's entry-level market, where value is crucial.
Separately, reports claim OnePlus is preparing a 4G-only phone for India, possibly to reduce costs by omitting 5G components and target prices under ₹16,000.
It remains unclear if this model is the N6x or a different device.
