Honor's futuristic Robot Phone, first showcased at MWC 2026, has cleared two major certifications in China, signaling that its expected August launch remains on schedule.

The device, bearing model number APH-AN00, appeared on China's MIIT and 3C certification platforms.

While the MIIT listing does not reveal hardware details, its presence confirms the phone has moved closer to release.

The 3C certification indicates that the handset could ship with a 120W fast charger, suggesting flagship-grade charging speeds.

According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the Honor Robot Phone may feature a 6.3- to 6.4-inch flat display with 1.5K resolution and ultra-slim bezels.

It is expected to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and pack a battery around 6,000mAh.

The camera setup is rumored to be a highlight, with a 200-megapixel main camera featuring f/1.6 aperture, 23mm focal length, and 4D gimbal stabilization.

It could also include a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens, enhanced by Honor's Ailai imaging technology.

The tipster added that the Robot Phone might offer an early preview of camera innovations planned for the upcoming Magic 9 series.
