Samsung has begun rolling out One UI 9.0 Beta 4 to the Galaxy S26 series, approximately one month after the Beta 3 release.

The update primarily addresses bugs and issues found in the previous build.

The rollout initially went live in India and quickly expanded to regions including the UK, Poland, Germany, and Korea.

The US is the only major market yet to receive the beta, but availability is expected imminently.

The firmware version ends with ZZG4 and has a download size of about 1.25GB.

Alongside bug fixes, the update includes the July 2026 security patch to enhance device security.

Changelog Highlights

  • Fixed an issue where the clock size appeared abnormal when rotating the lock screen between portrait and landscape.
  • Resolved a problem with the Privacy Display routine not operating correctly when toggled via Quick Panel or Settings.
  • Addressed a bug causing the navigation bar to disappear under certain conditions during gameplay.
  • Improved UI performance when opening and closing the Quick Panel.
  • Corrected timer notification numbers being cut off or UI instability in Live notifications.
  • Fixed an issue where the "Bluetooth audio media volume" routine action failed when connecting to vehicle Bluetooth via the Routines app.

Galaxy S26 users enrolled in the One UI 9.0 beta program can update by going to Settings > Software updates > Download and install, then tapping Install now.

Samsung is expected to release a few more beta builds before the stable version arrives later this year.

The stable One UI 9.0 is confirmed to debut later this month on the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Z Flip 8, with older Galaxy devices receiving the update in the following weeks.
