Joe Amabile, the popular 'Bachelor in Paradise' alum, has been diagnosed with an apparent brain tumor.
He shared the news in an Instagram video on Monday, describing the diagnosis as totally unexpected.
Amabile, widely known as 'Grocery Store Joe' to fans, said an MRI revealed a blueberry-sized lesion in his brain that appears to be a tumor.
He will undergo surgery in two weeks to remove the suspected tumor, which will then be tested to determine its nature.
The reality star noted the tumor is in its early stages, expressing hope that he will be fine.
In a caption accompanying the video, Amabile said he is trying to stay positive and feels lucky to have the support of family and friends.
Amabile first appeared as a contestant on 'The Bachelorette' and 'Bachelor in Paradise' in 2018, returning to 'Bachelor in Paradise' in 2021.
He also competed on 'Dancing With The Stars' in 2018.
