Asus has unveiled the A14 Air (2026) in China, an ultra-light laptop that weighs just 990 grams and measures 14.9mm thick.
Despite its slim profile, it packs modern hardware including an AMD Ryzen 9 processor and a high-refresh-rate OLED display.

The laptop features a metal chassis available in Hyacinth Blue and Iris Purple.
Its 14-inch OLED screen offers 2.8K resolution (2880 x 1800), a 120Hz refresh rate, 16:10 aspect ratio, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 600 nits peak brightness, and a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio.
Factory calibration ensures Delta E below 1.
Under the hood, the AMD Ryzen 9 8945H processor provides eight cores, 16 threads, and boost speeds up to 5.2GHz.
It includes Radeon 780M integrated graphics and Ryzen AI with up to 39 TOPS of AI performance.
The cooling system uses dual fans and dual heat pipes, sustaining up to 45W.
Users can choose between Silent, Standard, and Performance cooling profiles. Memory options are 16GB or 32GB LPDDR5X, paired with a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD.
An extra M. 2 2242 slot allows storage expansion.
The A14 Air (2026) packs a 70Wh battery and runs Windows 11 with Office pre-installed.
It features IR facial recognition for Windows Hello, a 180-degree hinge, and MIL-STD-810H durability certification.
Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, two USB-A ports, one USB4 port (40Gbps), one full-function USB-C port, HDMI, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Pricing and Availability
Asus offers four configurations: 16GB + 1TB and 32GB + 1TB in both Hyacinth Blue and Iris Purple. Pricing starts at 6,799 Yuan (approximately $1,000).
