Redmi is reportedly preparing to launch the Turbo 6 series, which includes the Turbo 6 and Turbo 6 Max, after the K100 series arrives in August.

Tipster Digital Chat Station has shared new details about the Max variant on Weibo, hinting at its launch timeframe and key specifications.

Expected specifications and launch

According to the tipster, a new Redmi performance-focused smartphone is slated to debut around January 2026.

While not explicitly named, the details point to the Redmi Turbo 6 Max.

The device is expected to feature a 7-inch 2K flat display, a Dimensity 9-series chipset, and a 10,000mAh-class battery.

This would make it one of the largest battery-equipped performance phones in its segment.

The tipster previously claimed the device would be powered by a 3nm chip.

It is also expected to include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, a metal middle frame, and IP68/IP69-rated dust and water resistance.

The Redmi Turbo 6 Max is expected to compete with the OnePlus Turbo 7, which is rumored to launch around the same time in China with a Snapdragon 8-series chipset.

Globally, the Redmi Turbo 6 Max may be rebranded as the Poco X9 Pro Max.
