Insta360's upcoming X6 360-degree camera has received FCC certification in the US, a key step before a global launch.

The device, listed under model number CINSABXA, includes details on Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and antennas.

This follows similar approvals in the UAE and India, matching Insta360's typical rollout pattern. An official announcement is expected between late August and September 2026.

Rumored Specs and Pricing

While full specifications remain unconfirmed, leaks suggest the X6 will feature a larger 1-inch or 1/1.28-inch CMOS sensor.

This could enable 8K 60fps 360-degree video, an upgrade from the X5.

Improved 10-bit color depth and HDR are also anticipated, enhancing low-light performance.

Pricing is estimated between $549 and $599 (roughly 3,725 to 4,065 RMB), keeping it competitive in the premium 360-camera segment.

The X6 is expected to retain popular features like stabilization, waterproofing, and a smooth app experience while focusing on image quality improvements.

More details on sensor size, battery life, and software features are expected soon.
