A fresh leak from tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) on Weibo has shed new light on the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max.

The post details the engineering prototype of the upcoming flagship, confirming several earlier rumors.

The prototype reportedly sports a custom flat display with large rounded corners and narrow, evenly sized bezels.

This aligns with previous reports of a 6.9-inch 2K OLED screen.

Under the hood, the device is expected to feature a 2nm-based Snapdragon chip.

The camera system is said to include a 200MP main sensor with LOFIC technology for improved dynamic range, paired with a second 200MP sensor for telephoto and macro shots, offering roughly 3x zoom.

Battery capacity is hinted at “8K++,” with a previous leak specifying 8,500 mAh. Charging is expected to support 100W wired and 50W wireless.

The post also mentions dual speakers and a larger haptic motor.

When a user commented on the likely high cost, DCS responded that the price would reflect the premium specs.

For reference, the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max launched at 5,999 yuan with a 6.9-inch flat screen, triple Leica cameras, 7,500mAh battery, and 100W charging.
