Asus has introduced a new portable storage device in China, the Adol High Speed Solid State USB Drive (PM310).

The drive combines the convenience of a flash drive with solid-state storage technology for faster data transfers.

Dual-Connector Design for Versatility

The Adol PM310 features a dual-connector setup with a USB-A port on one end and a USB-C port on the other.

This allows users to connect the drive directly to older desktop PCs as well as modern smartphones, tablets, or laptops without needing an adapter.

The drive has a metal chassis measuring 82 x 20 x 7.5mm and weighs 42.9g, making it compact for everyday carry.

A built-in flip cap protects the connectors when not in use.

Performance and Compatibility

The Adol drive uses a USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface, achieving sequential read speeds of up to 500MB/s.

While slower than larger external SSDs, this speed is typical for compact solid-state thumb drives.

The drive supports plug-and-play functionality across multiple operating systems, including macOS, Android, HarmonyOS, and iOS or iPadOS.

Pricing and Availability

The Asus Adol PM310 is available in four storage capacities.

The 128GB model is priced at 280 yuan ($41), the 256GB version costs 409 yuan ($60), the 512GB model is 629 yuan ($92), and the 1TB capacity is listed at 959 yuan ($141).
