Katie Morgan is making a bold career shift from adult films to the poker table.
The longtime XXX star has entered the 2026 World Series of Poker Main Event, one of the most prestigious tournaments in the world.
Morgan told TMZ Sports she has been playing poker since childhood. "My grandpa taught me when I was five," she said.
She later ran a home game in Los Angeles for about ten years.
Her casual play turned serious after a relationship with a professional poker player. "I really got into tournaments and stuff and playing live," she explained.
This year, Morgan secured backers to buy her into the Main Event. "I'm pretty good at it," she said.
"They bought my action. ...
I'm so excited!"
The WSOP Main Event is expected to draw around 12,000 players. Morgan noted the field includes both amateurs and top pros.
"Literally everybody who's anybody in poker is here," she said.
The winner's prize is $10 million. Morgan called it "life-changing money for anybody who gets that far up into, like, the final tables."
