At WrestleMania 39, Roman Reigns will face Cody Rhodes to defend the Undisputed WWE Universal Title. Nonetheless, he has one more championship defense against Sami Zayn slated before that. Yep, on the way to WrestleMania, the Bloodline exile will square off against his old faction leader one more.
The contest was just recently revealed. The game, though, won’t be broadcast on television. This week, The Tribal Chief will make a rare appearance on a house show where he will square off against Zayn for the second time since their fight at Elimination Chamber.
Roman Reigns vs Sami Zayn Rematch for Undisputed Wwe Universal Championship Announced
The Coca-Cola Coliseum in Toronto will host a WWE live event on March 4 featuring the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. This will be his first house show since fighting and winning against AJ Styles in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, on September 24, 2022.
The original plan was for Roman Reigns to face Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens with Solo Sikoa. The match has subsequently been modified, and the organization is now promoting a rematch between Zayn and Reigns.

Will Sami Zayn Be Added to The Main Event of Wrestle Mania 39?
Sami Zayn has improved significantly since joining the bloodline. The erstwhile Honorary Uce, who had long been portrayed as a jester, finally became weary of having to prove his allegiance to Roman Reigns and turned on him during the Royal Rumble.
In a highly lauded match, the two recently squared off in the Elimination Chamber. Zayn, though, has drifted away from Reigns after their PPV encounter and is now involved with Kevin Owens and The Usos.
Owens still hasn’t forgiven Zayn for anything he’s done in the past despite coming out to protect him. This story is further complicated by the fact that Jey is still perplexed even though Jimmy is obviously antagonistic toward Zayn.

The animosity between Zayn and the Bloodline, Owens, and all the other moving parts in this tale may have prompted WWE to alter the original match.
They might want to wait a little while before partnering up with the two Canadians until their characters have reconciled on WWE TV.
Zayn and Owens will compete against The Usos for the tag team titles at WrestleMania, and this bout may potentially serve as the night’s main event.
But, given the current state of affairs, it appears that Zayn has given up on winning any more world championships for the time being and won’t take part in the planned Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match on the Grandest Stage of All.
