A player needs a wide range of abilities to succeed in the NBA. There is shooting, handling the ball, moving around the court, and other technical aspects of the game. Only a select few NBA players can genuinely claim to be masters of these arts, despite the fact that nearly all of them possess these skills. Another of them is Stephen Curry.
The Warriors superstar is the best basketball shooter ever, has incredible ball-handling skills, and never stops moving. When Steph is required to step up and lead the Warriors, the sum of all these abilities is very useful.
By 2019, Steph had won three NBA championships, twice been named MVP, and six times been selected to the All-Star game. The Late Late Show sets, rather than the basketball court, presented him with his toughest challenge.
Stephen Curry Was Challenged by The Human Basketball Hoop
A true hooper can play and shoot on any hoop, but getting used to new hoops takes some getting used to. Things become much more difficult when the hoop is attached to a person, though. Being the kind of guy he is, James Corden even asserted that it was the zenith of Steph’s NBA career.
On the sets of his show, Corden wore a hoop close to his body and was later suspended in midair. Steph had to make as many shots as he could from one of the three racks of balls that were kept on the set.
The Warriors’ star player had a strong start, but as he advanced to the second rack, things became a little more challenging. As soon as Steph made those opening shots, Corden increased the pressure and the host started making it more difficult for Steph to make the shots.
Steph finished with seven points, which truly appeared to impress the host and the spectators.
Steph’s woes in Overtime
People constantly demand a lot from you since you are the best shooter in the world. Stephen Curry is elevated since he is also the team’s uncontested leader. Nevertheless, Steph has recently fallen short when it counts the most.
In the OT defeat against the Timberwolves, he was 0 for 3. This, however, is nothing new.
Stephen Curry has played 5 OT games in the last 2 seasons.
He has scored a total of 7 points and shot 1-13 from the floor in those OT periods.
