Why Isn’t Stephen Curry on The Court Against the Cavaliers Tonight?

Stephen Curry sustained a worrying shoulder issue on December 14. His left shoulder had a partial dislocation, according to a later diagnosis. Curry ultimately missed 11 straight games in December and January. On January 10th, he eventually made his comeback against the Phoenix Suns.

Since then, Stephen Curry has participated in 5 games, scoring 25.8 points on 4.4 three-pointers made per contest. However, it appears that Steph will miss yet another game due to soreness in his left hip. He is currently officially classified as out in the Warriors’ injury report.

The Warriors, who are in the middle of a 5-game road trip, will take on the Western Conference’s fifth-seeded team. With important players absent, they have dropped two of their last four games and will play on Friday.

Stephen Curry Is Among 8 Other Warriors Players on The Injury List

Unfortunately, the Warriors will be without at least six of their top players when they take on Cleveland. Draymond Green, Andrew Wiggins, Klay Thompson, Andre Iguodala, and James Wiseman won’t be in uniform today in addition to Curry. Additionally, JaMychal Green and Jonathan Kuminga are listed as probable.

The Cavaliers won’t be an easy club for the Warriors to defeat. They have already defeated some of the top teams in the East, including the Bucks, Celtics, and 76ers, and are currently rated second in the league in terms of defense. Even with Donovan Mitchell doubtful, the depleted Golden State team will require a miracle to prevail.

In the Western Conference, the Warriors are currently ranked ninth. They have a horrible road record in addition to Stephen Curry’s absence, which has stacked up. They currently require a winning streak in order to regain their momentum.

The boost they require might come from a healthy trio of Curry, Draymond Green, and Klay Thompson. Having said that, Steve Kerr needs to strengthen his squad by adding depth. In the off-season, hopefully, he will push for crucial moves.
