Lewis Hamilton Could Get $403 Million from His New Contract with Mercedes After 2023!

One of the most well-known and successful drivers in the history of Formula One is Lewis Hamilton. Since his debut in 2007, he has nearly smashed every record imaginable. He now holds the record for most race victories, pole places, and fastest laps among drivers.

He still has to become the driver with the most World Championships in order to break the record. Hamilton and Michael Schumacher are equal for the most championships with seven.

Since joining Mercedes in 2013, Hamilton has experienced the most success with the Brackley-based team. Although both parties have reiterated their desire for the collaboration to continue, his contract expires at the end of the 2023 season, and the sums involved in the agreement are astonishing. Hamilton’s current Mercedes contract pays him roughly $50 million annually. He will get a $25 million bonus if he wins the Championship in 2023.

Mercedes Is Ready to Pay the Staggering Amount to Secure Lewis Hamilton Beyond 2023

Despite being 38 years old, seven-time World Champion Hamilton is still going strong. He has even sworn to fight until he at least wins his seventh World Championship, especially in light of the sad way he lost it less than a year ago.

There is no doubt that Mercedes and Hamilton will remain romantically involved after 2023. Despite being one of the most marketable athletes in the world, Hamilton’s autograph is not cheap for the Brackley-based company to secure.

Hamilton’s new deal, according to rumors, will be worth about $403 million. However, this sum and duration make the Stevenage-born driver a brand ambassador for Mercedes in addition to retaining his driving skills for the ensuing three years. In exchange for serving as the Daimler Group’s ambassador, he is seeking $25 million over a ten-year period, which will bring in $250 million for him.

Hamilton’s contract will be extended for an additional two seasons beyond 2023. If Mercedes agrees to pay him $70 million over those two years, the Briton will sign a contract.
