Arjun Tendulkar, an Indian all-rounder, is a household name thanks to his famous family name and his recent success with his new team, Goa, on the domestic circuit. In the most recent season of the Indian Premier League, Arjun played for the Mumbai Indians.
The Mumbai Indians showed great auction savvy by snagging Jofra Archer last year despite the fact that they knew he wouldn’t play.
Jasprit Bumrah and Jofra Archer, when working together, can decimate any batting order in the tournament. They boast two of the most promising up-and-coming players, such as Dewald Brevis and Tristan Stubbs.
All of the team’s key players, including Rohit Sharma, Ishan Kishan, Suryakumar Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, etc., have been kept on board. How they fare after the sale is sure to be fascinating.
IPL 2023 Auction for Arjun Tendulkar
With Mumbai Indians keeping him, all-rounder Arjun Tendulkar will not be up for grabs in the IPL 2023 auction. Last year, the Mumbai Indians paid INR 30 Lacs (then the equivalent of almost $55,000) to acquire Arjun from the big auction.
He was not used in any of the team’s games during the tournament, although he was nonetheless kept on.
In spite of being a member of the Mumbai Indians since the year 2020, Arjun has yet to make his Indian Premier League debut.
He can score runs with the bat and throw the ball with his left hand. Arjun recently made the transfer from Mumbai to Goa in domestic cricket and also made a century in his first game for his new club, FC.
During his time with Goa in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, Arjun took 10 wickets at an economy rate of just 5.69. Given the value of a left-arm pacer, Mumbai may give him another go after he made frequent appearances in domestic cricket this season.
