At the ongoing IPL auction 2023, the Mumbai Indians paid Rs 17.50 crore (about $2.8 million) for the Australian all-rounder Cameron Green.
He is the second most expensive player at today’s auction, behind only Sam Curran, and the second most expensive player in IPL history.
For Rs 18.50 crore, Punjab Kings acquired Curran, breaking the previous IPL record established by Rajasthan Royals, who paid Rs. 16.25 crore to acquire Chris Morris in 2017.
