When Wilt Chamberlain, Bill Russell, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and Bill Walton were invited to appear in a 1992 Reebok commercial, it could not have been a greater gathering of big men. Who was the play’s main character? Sure, Shaquille O’Neal!
The greatest big guys to ever play the court may be seen on the Shaq Attaq set for Reebok in 1992. And of course, they would insult each other. Wilt Chamberlain and Bill Russell are two generational rivals.
Bill Walton and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar should be included. Shaq was likely more than just overwhelmed, we believe. Even the late John Wooden could have been a little in awe of that combination.

When the dominant centers from the game get together, they will speak trash about basketball. Of course. Watch the video below. Bill appears to be content, but Wilt speaks nonstop.
Hall of Famers Bill Walton, Wilt Chamberlain, Shaquille O’Neal, Bill Russell, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and John Wooden chatting & laughing together on the set of one of Shaq s first Reebok commercials in 1992.

The majority of the tales center on Bill and his history of intimidating opponents. As her daughter Karen Thee Russell tweeted, we are commemorating Bill in the correct way even though his passing is still recent in our memories.

Bill Russell’s Wholesome Gesture During Shaq’s Commercial
Throughout the ad filming, Bill Russell’s generous heart was clearly on exhibit. The day may have been about the NBA’s upcoming great big man, but Bill Russell was the actual star.
As his clothing line was just getting started, he questioned the photographer about the name and breed of his dog as a gesture of goodwill. What do you ask for?
Bill intended to present Joanne Borzakian with a sweater that had the dog’s name and image. A good deed that will undoubtedly make others think of Russell as a person.
When we made the Shaq Russell Wooden Jabbar Chamberlain Walton ad, Bill Russell told us about his clothing business & asked for my dog s name & breed. He said he d send something to thank me for my work. He did & 30 yrs later I still wear & treasure it! #Boston #Celtics pic.twitter.com/U2gBOXV3Gv
