Unquestionably, Shaquille O’Neal is among the best to have done it. It seemed like he frequently overlooked the existence of his opponents’ families while playing in the NBA. And with that accomplishment forgotten, it appears as though he thought it was acceptable to publicly humiliate these grown men.
Most likely, refraining from insulting Shaq Diesel and hoping he wasn’t feeling particularly motivated that day were your best bets against him. After all, that did truly happen. When you’re that good at what you do, there are bound to be days like that every once in a while.
Yet, if Wilt Chamberlain is to be believed, he is only so good because of the era he played in. Furthermore, he didn’t simply whisper it to one of his friends. He once announced it to the public on a talk show, to which the man himself only recently reacted.
Wilt Chamberlain was essentially in the prime of his retirement while Shaquille O’Neal was at the height of his powers. And throughout this time, the man frequently made appearances on various talk shows, where he was requested to repeatedly discuss basketball.
On one of these occasions, the individual was asked to comment on Shaq and his greatness. And in response, the man had quite a surprising remark. He said the following.
He (Shaquille O Neal) plays an entirely different basketball game. He uses his physicality, and he s a big strong young man, and that works well in today s game. If he was facing me, or other guys of my time, not so good. I m a guy bench pressing 600 lbs

To claim that his style wouldn’t fit Wilt Chamberlain’s era seems a little harsh. After all, in each of their eras, that was precisely what was required. And while some skill was present, it wasn’t significantly different from what was required during Shaq’s era. So while O Neal might not have it quite as easy, Wilt probably would too, something tells us.

Shaquille O’Neal has always had a tremendous deal of respect for the greats that came before him, and this time was no different. After all, this man was effectively doubting his greatness at a time when he was at the height of his NBA career. And yet, here is all he did.

In other words, he simply posted about it in silence on his story. Perhaps it’s a warning to the large men of today to make more use of their natural power. The man might have simply been pleased that Wilt had mentioned him on talk shows. Sincerity be told, anything could happen here.
