Samsung began the stable One UI 8.5 rollout in early May, starting in South Korea.
Within a week, the update went global, first hitting premium models like the Galaxy S25, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Flip 6.

The company is now expanding the update to older flagships and mid-range devices. The Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S23 series are already receiving the OTA builds.
The mid-range segment has also joined, led by the Galaxy A56.

Unlike previous mid-cycle One UI updates, which were often limited to high-end devices, One UI 8.5 covers a broader range.
It includes several generations of Galaxy flagships and mid-range phones.
Samsung has not released an official full list, but the company is clearly expanding the update to a larger user base.

While One UI 8.5 is still rolling out, Samsung is already preparing for the next major release.
The One UI 9 beta program recently launched for the Galaxy S26 series. The stable version is expected to debut on upcoming Galaxy foldables around July 2026.
