Creative has introduced the XF1 (model MF1730), a new 2.0 stereo desktop speaker system with a built-in Hi-Res DAC.
The speakers are priced at SGD $249 (approximately $192) and will be available in Black and White finishes starting July 16.

The XF1 features a bi-amplified design delivering a total continuous output of 72W RMS.
Each unit houses a 3-inch woofer, and the system offers a frequency response of 55 Hz to 40 kHz, earning it Hi-Res Audio certification.

For those wanting more bass, an expansion port on the back allows for a future subwoofer add-on.
The built-in DAC supports 24-bit/96 kHz audio via USB-C or the standard 3.5mm aux input.
Wireless connectivity includes Bluetooth 6.0 with support for SBC, AAC, and LDAC codecs, enabling higher-bitrate streaming on compatible Android devices.

Each speaker measures approximately 6.1 x 3.9 x 7.5 inches. The right speaker has a front-facing knob for volume control and source switching.
Creative also includes cork stands in the box to angle the speakers upward and reduce desk vibrations.

On the software side, the speakers work with the Creative Nexus app, which features a 10-band parametric EQ and a Desktop Mode for optimized desktop audio performance.
