Sexyy Red has filed a lawsuit against a security guard, alleging that $500,000 worth of handbags and jewelry were stolen during her mother's birthday retreat in Florida.
According to the legal documents obtained by TMZ, the rapper hosted the celebration at a rented mansion in January 2025.

She claims an unlocked door led to the burglary.
Sexyy Red says she hired a security guard to protect the property during the festivities.
On January 12, a single masked individual entered through an unlocked door and stole necklaces, charms, rings, bracelets, watches, and designer handbags valued at no less than $500,000.

Police investigated and determined that a door had been left unlocked.
The rapper blames her security team, led by Carl Thompson, stating he was the last person to leave the property before the burglary.
She is now seeking more than $500,000 in damages.

Legal Battle Escalates
The legal dispute began when Carl Thompson sued Sexyy Red and her team in August 2025.
He claimed he was hired in May 2023 as her personal security guard for $180,000 per year and worked until December 2024.
Thompson said he was paid $204,000 but should have received $285,000, so he sued for the remaining balance.

Sexyy Red denies underpaying him and countersued, blaming him for the burglary. The case is ongoing.
