The tipster suggests the upcoming mid-range device will focus on practicality, featuring a 1.5K flat display, high-volume dual speakers, and enhanced durability with flagship-level water and drop resistance.

The phone is said to be powered by a power-efficient Snapdragon 6-series chipset, possibly the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5.

When that chip was announced in May, Redmi was confirmed as one of the first adopters.

Meanwhile, a rumored 10,000mAh battery phone, believed to be the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max, is reportedly planned for a later release in China, possibly in August or September.
