Halsey reignited her feud with YouTube music reviewer Anthony Fantano over the weekend, slamming him for his harsh review of her 2024 album, "The Great Impersonator."
The singer jumped into a social media exchange after fans brought up Fantano's negative critique.

She quote-tweeted him, writing she was "certain my least memorable song will be remembered more fondly and for more time than anything you ever do with your life will be."
Halsey also accused Fantano of being more "whiny" and "edgy" than she was on the album.
She pointed out that she had the excuse of undergoing chemotherapy for blood cancer, diagnosed in 2022.

This was a direct jab at Fantano's review, where he described Halsey as having the worst case of "main character syndrome" he'd ever heard on a pop record.
Fantano responded by calling Halsey a "queen" and saying he was flattered to be on her radar. But Halsey wasn't impressed, labeling him a "raised-by-4chan edgelord bully."

After discussing her health issues briefly, Halsey ended her online rant with, "That's all and good luck to this man!"
Fantano runs the YouTube channel "The Needle Drop" and calls himself the "internet's busiest music nerd."
He recently faced backlash for interviewing Olivia Rodrigo, with some accusing him of bias toward female artists.

In his review, Fantano gave Halsey's album a "decent 1" out of 10.
