Xiaomi is set to unveil the Xiaomi 17 Max tomorrow, May 21. Just before the official launch, the device has appeared on Geekbench, revealing its performance credentials.
The phone was listed under model number 2605EPN8EC.

According to the benchmark, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset paired with 16GB of RAM.
In Geekbench 6.7.1, the Xiaomi 17 Max scored 3,750 points in single-core and 11,674 points in multi-core tests.
These numbers indicate strong performance for a flagship device.
Expected Specifications
The Xiaomi 17 Max is rumored to pack an 8,000mAh Xiaomi Jinshajiang battery.
A recent livestream showed it outlasting two iPhone 17 Pro Max units in video playback.

On the front, it is expected to feature a 6.9-inch flat display with ultra-slim bezels.
Xiaomi calls it a Super Pixel panel, using a new RGB sub-pixel layout and red luminous materials.
The company claims the screen delivers near-2K clarity while consuming less power than a typical 1.5K OLED.
It is also said to support a 120Hz LTPO refresh rate, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, and symmetrical stereo speakers.
For photography, the Xiaomi 17 Max is expected to include a Leica-tuned 200-megapixel main camera with a 1/1.4-inch sensor.

It will be joined by a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera.
Memory options are likely LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. Xiaomi has reportedly redesigned the internal layout for better cooling, which should benefit gaming and heavy multitasking.
Alongside the Xiaomi 17 Max, the company is expected to launch the Xiaomi Band 10 Pro and Xiaomi YU7 GT.
