Samsung has been spotted testing One UI 9.0 firmware on a range of Galaxy devices internally, suggesting the company may expand its beta program beyond the current Galaxy S26 series.

The One UI 9 beta is currently limited to the Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra.

However, test builds have been found on Samsung's servers for several other models.

Devices with One UI 9 Test Firmware

  • Galaxy S25
  • Galaxy S25+
  • Galaxy S25 Ultra
  • Galaxy A57
  • Galaxy A34
  • Galaxy A17 5G
  • Galaxy Z Fold 8 (unreleased)
  • Galaxy Z Flip 8 (unreleased)
  • Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra (unreleased)
  • Galaxy Z Fold 7

This does not guarantee a faster rollout for these devices, but it indicates Samsung may be preparing to include them in the beta program.

Based on past release patterns, the beta expansion to other Galaxy devices is expected soon.

The stable version of One UI 9, based on Android 17, is likely to debut with the upcoming foldable phones.

Rumors suggest the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Flip 8, and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra will be unveiled on July 22.
