Samsung is rolling out a company-wide initiative called “AI Transformation” (AX) to integrate artificial intelligence into its daily operations across all business units.
Announced on June 9, 2026, the program includes new AI tools, employee training, and dedicated AI teams within the Samsung Group.

The goal is to boost productivity and expand AI usage beyond products into internal processes.
Employees will gain access to external generative AI services such as Google Gemini, ChatGPT, and Claude.
These tools will support tasks in software development, marketing, manufacturing, and business operations.

Training is a key component. Samsung plans to provide AI education to all roughly 280,000 employees by the end of 2026.
Leadership is also involved.
Around 50 group presidents will attend a two-day AX Bootcamp at Samsung’s Human Resources Development Institute this month.
About 2,300 senior executives will undergo separate three-day training sessions, with the first round finishing by mid-August.

Samsung is expected to unveil a group-wide AX Vision during the leadership program, outlining how AI will be applied across its businesses.
The company will also establish dedicated AI departments in each subsidiary to oversee adoption and build internal expertise.
This move reflects the growing importance of AI in the technology industry, as companies seek to automate workflows and improve decision-making.
