Xiaomi has finally released the stable HyperOS 3 update for the Xiaomi 13T. The rollout began in Indonesia with firmware version OS3.0.1.0.

The update is based on Android 16 and weighs approximately 6.5 GB. Users in other regions can expect to receive it in the coming days.
HyperOS 3 introduces Xiaomi HyperIsland, a pill-style hub for live activities. It supports system features and third-party apps like WhatsApp, YouTube, and Spotify.
The update also includes an AI Cinematic Lock Screen and AI Dynamic Wallpapers for enhanced lock screen customization.

Smoother transitions from AOD to lock screen to home screen are also part of the package.
Integration with Apple devices has been improved, adding Touch to Share and the ability to run Xiaomi phone apps on an iPad.
A suite of AI features such as AI Writing, AI Speech Recognition, AI Search, and AI Translate are included.

Xiaomi delayed the HyperOS 3 release for the Xiaomi 13T due to testing a new Android 16 kernel.
The kernel version is 6.12.38-android16, which impacts performance, memory, graphics, battery, and compatibility.
To install the update, ensure your device is charged to at least 40% and connected to a stable Wi-Fi network.

Check for the update via Settings > About phone > tap the HyperOS logo.
