Lenovo has launched the 15-inch Legion 5i Gen 11 (15IAX11) gaming laptop in the United States.
The system was previously released in China as the Legion Y7000X and later rolled out to Europe and Asia.

Display and Performance
The laptop features a 15.3-inch OLED panel with 2560 x 1600 resolution and a 16:10 aspect ratio.
It offers a 165Hz refresh rate and a sub-1ms response time.
Standard brightness is 500 nits, with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 1000 certification enabling up to 1,000 nits peak brightness for HDR content.
The display covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color space and supports Nvidia G-Sync.

Under the hood, the Legion 5i Gen 11 is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 251HX processor with 18 cores and 18 threads.
Graphics are handled by an Nvidia RTX 5060 laptop GPU with 8GB of GDDR7 memory, running at a 115W maximum power limit.
The base US model includes 16GB of DDR5-5600 memory and a 1TB PCIe Gen4 SSD. The RAM is slotted (two SODIMM slots), allowing future upgrades.
Design and Cooling
The chassis measures just under 0.8 inches thick and weighs 4.25 pounds.
Lenovo's Coldfront: Hyper thermal system uses dual fans and copper heat pipes to cool the internals through a dedicated internal chamber.

An 80Wh battery powers the system.
Port selection includes a Thunderbolt 4 port and a 10Gbps USB-C port on the left side, both supporting up to 100W power delivery and DisplayPort 2.1.
The right and rear edges offer three USB-A ports, an HDMI 2.1 output, and an Ethernet jack.
The laptop also supports Wi-Fi 7 and features a 5MP webcam with a physical privacy shutter.
