Nubia has introduced a new pair of wired gaming earbuds under its Red Magic brand in China. The product, simply called Gaming Headset, is now available on JD.
com for 89 yuan (approximately $13).

Two connectivity options
The earbuds come in two variants: one with a standard 3.5mm headphone jack and another with a USB-C connector.
This allows users to choose based on their device, whether an older laptop or a modern smartphone without a headphone port.
Inside, the earbuds are equipped with 14.2mm dynamic drivers.

The model number is WH4008, with a frequency response range of 20Hz to 20kHz and a rated power output of 5mW.
Nubia tuned the audio profile for gaming, emphasizing in-game cues like footsteps and gunfire. The composite diaphragm is designed to enhance spatial awareness during multiplayer matches.

Semi-in-ear design and cable features
The earbuds feature a semi-in-ear shape, avoiding silicone tips that seal the ear canal. This design aims for comfort during long sessions.
The earpieces have a space gray metallic finish with laser-engraved RedMagic branding. The cable is made from a flexible, tangle-resistant material.
A three-button inline remote is attached to the cable, including a built-in microphone for voice chats and calls.
