A new leak suggests the Galaxy S27 Pro may come with a 5,000mAh battery. That capacity seems ordinary until you consider the device's rumored 6.5-inch display.
The Galaxy S27 Ultra is expected to have a larger battery, reportedly between 5,200mAh and 5,500mAh.

However, battery life depends on more than just capacity.
The Pro's smaller screen should consume less power. Samsung might also use a more conservative performance profile to manage heat in the smaller chassis.
This could narrow the real-world battery gap significantly.

In some scenarios, the S27 Pro might even match or exceed the Ultra's endurance.
Both devices are rumored to share the same Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset, ensuring similar efficiency at the silicon level.
Camera differences
The camera setup could be another differentiator.
Leaks indicate the S27 Pro may use the same main and ultra-wide sensors as the Ultra, plus a 50MP 3.5x ALoP telephoto camera.

The Ultra, meanwhile, is said to drop its 3x 10MP telephoto lens and rely on cropping from the 200MP main sensor for up to 5x zoom.
If true, the Pro's dedicated telephoto could be more practical for everyday photography.
Samsung will likely position the Ultra as the ultimate camera flagship.
