Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed that Oppo and Vivo are independently developing compact gimbal cameras with flagship specifications.
Both devices are expected to feature a 200MP sensor on a 1/1.12-inch imaging chip, matching Sony's LYT-901 sensor, though exact details remain unconfirmed.

Branding and Processor
Oppo's version may carry Hasselblad co-branding, while Vivo's could feature Zeiss, mirroring their smartphone partnerships.
Both cameras are said to run on high-end processors, though specific chips are not yet known.

Ecosystem Integration
The handheld cameras will support seamless interconnection with their respective smartphones, allowing easy transfer, editing, and sharing of photos and videos.
Vivo's vlogging camera plans were first reported in February, while Oppo's internal project "Fuyao" was confirmed more recently.

Vivo is reportedly preparing an initial inventory of around one million units.
Industry analysts believe smartphone makers entering this segment could challenge DJI and Insta360, leveraging their imaging algorithms, AI processing, and competitive pricing.
