Vivo is preparing to launch two new smartphones in India.
The Vivo S2 FE and Vivo V80 have now appeared in the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) database.
The listings show model numbers V2640 and V2648. The V2640 has been linked to the Vivo S2 FE through a previous Bluetooth SIG certification.
The V2648 corresponds to the Vivo V80. That model has already been confirmed via NBTC, SIRIM, and SDPPI certifications.
Expected Launch and Specifications
Both phones may be released in October.
The Vivo S2 FE is speculated to be a rebranded Vivo V80 Lite 5G, which debuted in Malaysia with a 10,000mAh battery.
The S2 FE is expected to feature a 6.84-inch 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED screen and a Dimensity 7300e chipset.
It may also include a 50-megapixel rear camera, a 32-megapixel camera, and 44W fast charging.
The Vivo V80 could be India's first phone to run OriginOS 7-based Android 17. It is rumored to be a creator-focused device with AI-driven photography improvements.
The V80 is expected to sport a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and 10x portrait zoom.
It may also support 4K cinematic video recording.
A 7,200mAh battery is rumored for the V80, which would make it the largest in the V-series.
