New footage shows law enforcement taking a duct-taped American Airlines passenger into custody after an in-flight meltdown.
The passenger, identified as 67-year-old Arthur Layne Lundeen, was removed from the plane after it landed at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport last Thursday.
The video, obtained by TMZ, shows several officers standing over Lundeen while he was still seated.
An eyewitness said officers quickly ripped off the duct tape before forcing him to his feet.
Lundeen was arrested on the spot and rushed off the plane, a process that took about 20 minutes.
Charges and In-Flight Incident
Prosecutors charged Lundeen with two misdemeanors: assault and disorderly conduct.
During the flight, Lundeen reportedly chatted for two hours with another passenger about religion.
He was sitting in first class next to a rabbi.
Sources said Lundeen began shouting anti-gay remarks and hurling the n-word at a Black flight attendant.
He also hit the neighboring passenger and struck the man's computer.
After the situation became intolerable, several passengers and flight attendants used duct tape to restrain Lundeen, even taping his head to the seat.
People on the plane said everyone was freaking out after seeing Lundeen's head taped to the seat as he yelled at people around him.
Video shows him repeatedly telling someone they had a "little tiny d***."
The plane was flying from Texas to New Jersey but was diverted to Maryland because of the disturbance.
