Oppo may be working on a mid-range smartphone with a battery capacity approaching 10,000mAh, according to a tip from Digital Chat Station on Weibo.
The device is said to carry a rated battery capacity of around 9,700mAh, with a typical value reaching the 10,000mAh mark.

If confirmed, it would surpass most current battery-focused smartphones.
Reports from late 2025 mentioned a large single-cell battery entering trial production with similar specs, but at the time it seemed like a distant prospect.
Now, the leak suggests a commercial launch may be closer.

The rumored phone is expected to feature a 4nm chipset and a flat LTPS display with approximately 1.5K resolution.
It also reportedly uses high-polymer impact-resistant materials and Oppo's "diamond architecture" design for improved drop resistance.
Perhaps the most surprising detail is the price.
Digital Chat Station claims the device will be positioned around 2,000 yuan (roughly €253), placing it firmly in the mid-range segment.

Battery capacity alone doesn't determine real-world performance, as software optimization, charging speeds, and thermal management also play key roles.
Still, a mainstream smartphone nearing 10,000mAh would have seemed unrealistic not long ago.
Several smartphones from Realme and Honor already ship with 10,000mAh batteries, including the Realme P4 Power, Realme Narzo Power, Honor Power 2, Honor Win, and Honor WIN RT.
