Huawei has introduced the Watch D3, its latest smartwatch focused on blood pressure monitoring.
The new model features a slimmer case and several upgrades over its predecessor, the Watch D2.
Like the Watch D2, the Watch D3 measures blood pressure using an inflatable airbag built into the strap, eliminating the need for a separate cuff.
The Watch D3 is 11.3mm thick and weighs 40g, making it noticeably more compact.
Its airbag strap is 25.5mm wide, slightly narrower than the 26.5mm cuff on the Watch D2.
The watch comes in three finishes: Black, White, and Mocha Gold.
The blood pressure system uses an inflatable airbag and a high-precision sensor, not just optical sensors.
It retains 24-hour Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring, following ESH guidelines for measurement intervals and minimum readings.
At night, the airbag inflates more quietly to minimize sleep disruption.
New health tracking features
A new pre- and post-exercise blood pressure check lets users see if their numbers are safe before a workout and track changes afterward.
The Watch D3 retains its CE marking under the EU Medical Device Regulation, ensuring clinical backing for readings.
Health Glance can assess up to 11 health indicators and provide a report in about a minute.
Health Insights now combines blood pressure data with sleep and daily activity information.
A new Health Community feature allows family members to check each other's health readings and receive alerts for unusual values.
Every Watch D3 includes Huawei MultiPass, offering Huawei Health+ and up to 90 days of free access to apps like Headspace and komoot.
Huawei's Worry-Free Care package provides two years of coverage for the display, battery, back cover, and airbag.

In the UK, the Huawei Watch D3 goes on sale from September 23 for £399.99 via the Huawei Store, Amazon, and select retailers.
Purchases between September 23, 2026, and September 22, 2027, include 10 months of Bupa Well+ health services worth £200.
Early buyers through the Huawei Store receive a free Huawei Scale 3 and reward points until November 3.
