Honor is reportedly gearing up to launch the Magic 9 series, and new leaks suggest the standard model will pack flagship-level specs in a compact body.
According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the Honor Magic 9 standard version could sport a 6.36-inch flat OLED display and an 8,000mAh-class battery.
The battery is said to use Honor's third-generation Qinghai Lake silicon-carbon technology, potentially making it the largest in its segment.
This combination stands out because compact flagships often compromise on battery capacity due to space constraints.
If the reports hold, the Magic 9 could offer a significant endurance advantage over rivals.
Camera and other specs
The rear camera setup is tipped to include a pair of 200-megapixel cameras.
The primary sensor is said to be 1/1.4-inch, while the other 200MP camera is a periscope telephoto, previously rumored with a 64MP sensor.
Additionally, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens is expected.
Other reported features include wireless charging and an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
The standard Magic 9 is expected to run on last year's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, while Pro models may get the newer Gen 6 series.
The Magic 9 series has been confirmed to launch on September 28.
