Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S27 series has taken a significant step forward, appearing in China's 3C certification database.
The listing reveals key details about two models, including their charging capabilities and potential launch timeline.

3C Certification Details
The Galaxy S27, with model number SM-S9520, supports up to 27W charging, while the Galaxy S27 Plus (SM-S9560) supports 45W.
Both devices are listed without a charger in the box, continuing Samsung's recent trend.
These charging specs align with Samsung's historical approach: the standard S series has used 25W since the Galaxy S20 in 2020, making the S27 the seventh generation with similar charging.

The S+ models adopted 45W with the Galaxy S22+ in 2022, so the S27+ would mark the fifth consecutive year with that speed.
Possible Early Launch
The timing of the certification is notable. The Galaxy S26 series appeared in the 3C database in January 2026 before launching in March.

In contrast, the Galaxy S25 series received 3C approval in September 2024 and launched in January 2025.
With the S27 and S27 Plus already certified in September 2026, Samsung could potentially move the launch earlier than the S26 lineup, possibly in January 2027.
However, Samsung has not officially confirmed any launch plans.

Rumors also suggest a new Galaxy S27 Pro model, positioned between the S27+ and S27 Ultra, which might receive certification soon.
