MediaTek's Dimensity 7500 has made its first appearance on Geekbench, running on the Vivo S60 Vitality Edition. The benchmark results give an early look at the chip's performance.

The device scored 1243 points in single-core testing and 3569 points in multi-core.

These numbers are slightly higher than typical Dimensity 7400 scores, though the improvement is not dramatic.

MediaTek had previously claimed around 24% better single-core performance and 21% improvement in multi-core workloads. Real-world benchmarks often differ from marketing figures, but the gains are still noticeable.

The company appears to be following its established strategy of incremental upgrades.

Rather than chasing massive year-over-year jumps, the Dimensity 7500 focuses on refining efficiency and making small improvements.

Benchmark scores in this range would have been considered upper-tier a few years ago.

Now they are found in mid-range devices, which are more than capable for everyday tasks like social media, photography, and video streaming.

The Dimensity 7500 is built on a 4nm process with an octa-core CPU and a Mali-G625 GPU. This combination should handle daily use and occasional gaming without issues.

Vivo pairs the chip with a 144Hz AMOLED display, a slim 7.92mm body, and a starting price of 2,899 yuan in the S60 Vitality Edition.

Geekbench scores are just one metric.

Sustained performance, battery life, thermals, and gaming tests will provide a fuller picture of the Dimensity 7500's capabilities.
