Xiaomi has expanded its study lamp lineup with the Mijia Vertical Study Lamp 2C, a more affordable option compared to the earlier Lamp 2.
The 2C weighs about 8.5kg and features an 11-degree anti-tipping base on both front and back.

Its lamp head is only 28mm thick, with touch controls on the upper post for quick mode changes without using the app.
Bright and Wide Illumination
The lamp delivers up to 11,000 lumens, covering a room up to 14 square meters.

The light-emitting surface sits about 1.3 meters above the desk, and the 80cm-long head spreads light evenly to reduce shadows.
Xiaomi uses a dual-light setup with an 8:3 ratio between upper and lower lights.
The upper light produces up to 8,000 lumens, while the lower light adds 3,000 lumens, both using diffuse reflection.

With an Ra98 color rendering index and 4000K color temperature, the light mimics natural sunlight.
It also meets the RG0 blue-light exemption and has a UGR rating below 13 for minimal glare.

The Mijia Vertical Study Lamp 2C is now available in China for 1,199 yuan (~$178), significantly cheaper than the Lamp 2 at 2,349 yuan (~$342).
