Dolly Parton is giving fans an update on her health, admitting she's been dealing with some issues.
The country legend told PEOPLE on Friday that she's 'dealing with some health issues' that she put aside while caring for her late husband, Carl Thomas Dean, who died in March 2025 at age 82.

Parton acknowledged she's faced health challenges before, but she's still working hard while 'healin'.'
She also reflected on how health matters seem magnified in today's social media world, joking, 'I used to joke that I was the Queen of the Tabloids, but now I guess I can say I’m the Queen of Social Media A.
I.!'

Recent Health Scares
Her upbeat update comes after she missed an in-person appearance at Dollywood to celebrate the new ride NightFlight Expedition.
She appeared via video instead, explaining that doctors advised against traveling to East Tennessee due to dehydration and occasional dizziness.
Last fall, Parton also dealt with kidney stones and an infection, which led to delays and cancellation of her Las Vegas residency.

Despite these setbacks, Parton has plenty on her plate.
She recently announced the Dolly's Life of Many Colors Museum, set to open in October at her Nashville hotel, Dolly Parton's SongTeller Hotel.
She's also developing an official line of dog treats in partnership with Purina.

Clearly, Dolly's '9 to 5' is still going strong, even with health obstacles in her way.
