Xiaomi has expanded its smart home lineup with the Mijia Pressurized Steam Iron, a floor-standing garment steamer now listed on JD.
com for 587.05 yuan ($87).

The device features a 500kPa electromagnetic pump, a built-in boiler, and a 2,200W heating system that delivers 135°C steam at a steady 40g/min output.
According to Xiaomi, the pressurized steam can penetrate up to eight layers of silk, softening fibers and removing wrinkles from thicker garments.
To prevent clothes from getting damp, the iron uses a secondary heating system and a ceramic-glazed soleplate to reduce condensation and water marks.

Xiaomi also claims that the 135°C steam achieves a 99.99% sterilization rate.
Design and Features
The ironing board adjusts from 0 to 90 degrees, allowing vertical steaming, a 45-degree tilt, or a completely flat position.
All power and steam controls are located on the handle, eliminating the need to bend down to the base station.
A grip sensor automatically pauses steam when you let go, and the device shuts down entirely if left idle for 30 minutes.

Three steam settings cater to different fabric weights, plus a burst-steam mode for flat ironing and formal wear.
The base houses a 2-liter water tank, providing over 40 minutes of continuous use—enough for about 17 shirts or 14 suit jackets.
The unit weighs 7.5kg and comes in a white finish, with a telescopic aluminum rod, shoulder-shaped hanger, wool-cleaning brush, and anti-scald glove.
