The Greenville County Coroner's Office in South Carolina has informed Hayden Panettiere's family that her remains are ready to be released.
A representative for the coroner's office confirmed that they have advised the actress's parents of this development.

However, the family has not yet selected a funeral home, so Panettiere's body will remain with the coroner's office for now.
Once a funeral home is chosen, the remains will be officially turned over to the family.
Toxicology Tests Pending
Meanwhile, toxicology tests are being conducted after Panettiere's autopsy was completed on Monday.

The cause and manner of death are still pending, with results expected in 8 to 12 weeks.
The tests will screen for alcohol, medications, and both illicit and non-illicit drugs.
Panettiere was found dead on Sunday inside a Greenville apartment by a friend who called 911 to report an 'unresponsive female' in 'cardiac arrest.'

It remains unclear if the friend who discovered her was on-again, off-again boyfriend Brian Hickerson.
Dispatch audio revealed that first responders performed CPR, and Narcan was found in the apartment.
Emergency Medical Services workers attempted resuscitation using advanced cardiac life support, but Panettiere was pronounced dead at the scene.
