Vivo has introduced the TWS 5e, a new pair of budget wireless earbuds, in China. The launch accompanied the Vivo S60 series.
Compared to the previous-generation Vivo TWS 3e, the new model brings significant upgrades in noise cancellation and battery life.

Pricing and Design
The Vivo TWS 5e are priced at 229 yuan (roughly $32). They come in white, black, and sky blue finishes.
The earbuds feature a stem-style design with silicone ear tips and rounded outer shells. Each earbud weighs 4.3 grams.
They also carry an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance.
Noise Cancellation and Connectivity
A key upgrade is the active noise cancellation.

Vivo claims the TWS 5e supports up to 55dB hybrid adaptive ANC, a notable jump from the 30dB ANC on the TWS 3e.
The earbuds include dual-microphone AI call noise reduction. They also offer AI features such as AI smart broadcast, instant pairing, and real-time translation.
Connectivity has been upgraded from Bluetooth 5.3 to 5.4. The earbuds support dual-device pairing and have a wireless range of up to 10 meters.
Vivo promises low latency as low as 42ms.

Audio and Battery
Inside, the Vivo TWS 5e use 11mm dynamic drivers. They support AAC, SBC, and LC3 audio codecs.
The earbuds also feature Vivo's DeepX 3.0 stereo sound effects and spatial audio for an immersive listening experience.
Vivo claims the earbuds can last up to 13 hours on a single charge. The charging case extends total playback time to as much as 55 hours.
Charging is via USB Type-C.
